During a cold, wet winters evening at Portsea, along Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, the rain had just stopped enough to click the shutter as this burst of sun and light just peeked through the clouds to create some of the most amazing colours I’ve ever seen in my travels.

The blues, pinks and oranges just balance so well and compliment the smooth yet interesting shapes and patterns which creates such a wide range of interpretations and emotions.

I love how piers and jetties connect us to the sea or water. Enabling us to get where we once couldn’t reach. I also love how some photographs can hold a special moment in time for you.
